Do you miss me ??
I'm finally back from my massive hiatus ! ^_^
Recently I took up a job at sitex. Yesterday was my first day at work !

Before this, I had the mindset that nobody would get an xbox console, I mean like isn't iPhone the most IN thing instead of xbox now ? But I was wronged by my sight. There were LOTS of people looking to get a console! I mean they weren't bribed or talked into getting one since neither shawn nor I have the skills to psyco people to get the console, well maybe we'll achieve that skills real soon!

Come to think about it, time really past so fast tomorrow's our second last day at Sitex, and also our second last day working with the fabulous staff there ! I really love the people there and I thank god that shawn & I were posted to cyberactive instead of challenger !! I just feel that cyberactive have a very family atmosphere cos there's only 5 of us and occasionally the guys from other side comes to help out. And I must really thank the people there for helping us with our doubts, queries and handling tough customers. They are really nice people, I think i'll be sad that Sunday will be our last day there :(

I'm not quite sure how many people would think of a job that needs you to stand for about 10 hours. But in my perspective, ITS FUN! What makes it better is the people there. You don't get scolded for complaining about boredness, you get to have breaks. In fact we have a lunch & dinner break ! ( I thought normally we would only get lunch breaks which would normally kill me because I definitely couldn't survive eating only one meal in 5 hours )

I like customers who approach me, customers who decided on their purchase before coming here, and I really like it when they don't ask stupid questions. Teehee. I bet all promoters wouldn't like hard customers ~ They just waste your time and sometimes they walk away without purchasing! I especially hate it when I spent so much time talking about the consoles/games and they walk towards maverick/challengers and get the items. Lol. Yesterday I got a chinese customers, and I don't know how to speak much so I quickly asked for help >_<

And sometimes I hope customers would understand that the boss is not me, I cannot just give you any free gifts. Plus xbox stuff are pretty much fixed rate and so right ? I must say that i don't know a lot about xbox, so I may give wrong details but hopefully I am right most of the time ~

Well so far, customers that demand for gifts, discounts, or have really weird questions are pretty okay. And so far, there's only 1 customer that I really dislike and I still feel like punching her ! You know she was telling me she got this older version of xbox, and she asked if kinect could connect to it, so i said only xbox 360 could. And she was like ' so you know whats the older version of xbox ? ' and she turned to her husband and grinned. The kind of grin that says " I bet she doesn't know " , ok i told her i don't know and I diao-ed her and walk away. I know customers are always right. You know I don't fancy serving customers who come here just to test my patience, and are not even potential buyers. DUDE i am not a toy, am I ?


Also another point why I really really enjoyed my job is because of the free entertainment ! I get to see people play kinect games and the MC opposite my booth cracking jokes. Yes, that MC is humorously FUNNY. There was this guy on the phone and raising his hand, probably looking for someone, and the MC was disturbing him for holding his hand so high. LOL. Really made me LMAO .


Ok that's the end of my long post about work, will probably post about prom sooner or later !~ BB.
